Inspection made fast and easy

Inspect-X features operator and supervisor modes, an integrated help system, visual mapping of the whole inspection area, click and view manipulator control, zoom to sample, scan board, save positions and image zoom. To aid ease of use, almost all functions within the software are available for use on real-time live images as well as captured images.
Inspect-X has operator and supervisor modes of operation that are password protected. In each mode only the functions appropriate to that level are displayed.

Image Enhancement

Inspect-X includes a comprehensive range of image enhancement and analysis tools ranging from tonal adjustment through to specialised BGA analysis tools. To allow you to get the most from your image, Inspect-X features user-configurable multipoint tone adjust, image processing filters such as sharpen, smooth, edge detect, emboss and background subtract, and live image histogram. These give Inspect-X the edge when analysing your image.

Integrated CT Acquisition

For industrial and electronics CT, Inspect-X 1.5 embeds a redesigned and streamlined wizard that leads the user through the CT setup process as simply and easily as possible. The emphasis is clearly on ease of use, as it only takes a few mouse clicks between sample insertion and CT data availablity.

Automation

Inspect-X offers various aids to automation. A 'Teach and Learn' module allows complex, repeatable tasks to be set up with no programming required by generating the VBA code whilst you are controlling the system.
Inspect-X also offers extended functionality with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). VBA offers a full functional and easy to use visual integrated development environment that is common to all Microsoft Office applications. Also it allows integration with Microsoft and other COM compliant software so that connections can be easily made to other applications and databases.
In addition to the automation of tasks, VBA can be used to extend the user interface of Inspect-X by providing new windows.
Inspect-X runs on a single PC with standard off-the-shelf components.
