Proprietary Protocol Integrations (Ports)
Camio has recently added support for a number of portable inspection devices, both articulated arm and laser trackers. Support for these devices has been fully integrated into the Camio suite environment and allows users of these systems to take full advantage of Camio Studio product range functionality.
I++ DME Standard
I++ is a working group of five European car manufacturers – Audi, BMW, DaimlerChrysler, VW and Volvo.
The aim of the I++ DME group is to create a common interface to allow interoperability between any compliant software application (inspection software), which can be referred to as the Client and any compliant hardware system (CMM), which can be referred to as the Server.
LK is committed to supporting this standard as a means to further develop the vision of interoperability throughout metrology systems. The Camio products can currently fulfil the Client side solution of the I++ DME solution and further developments will see the arrival of a I++ Server in the near future.
Additional equipment support
Further ports to other CMM equipment are underway to allow more metrology software users to take advantage of the superior functionality and user interaction provided by the Camio product range.
