Opportunity: The ideal Test Technician candidate will be a self-started, motivated and will demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision. The Test Technician should possess the ability to perform the following:
Responsabilities:
Performs test set-ups and calibration of test equipments.
Performs appropriate testing to verify quality of parts or product and records results.
Recognizes failures and set-up problems.
Troubleshoots circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Identifies areas for improved testing methods.
Assists engineering department and quality department in reviewing test results.
Experience in delivering fully characterized and qualified products to customers.
May assist in the design and development of test procedures and equipment.
Should have experience in establishing product reliability.
Organized and meticulous.
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Exercises good judgment to determine problem areas and need for appropriate verification.
Strong communications, both written and oral. Capable of summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
Requirements:
AA degree, or equivalent experience.
3 - 5 years minimum total experience in optical testing, metrology, reliability, and/or failure analysis
Hands on experience with test and analysis equipments.
Knowledgeable with test laboratory QA/QC programs.
