Opportunity:
 
Electro Mechanical Technician to carry out wiring and assembly of electronic products for unique product line following routine procedures and specifications.

Responsabilities:

  • The individual will be responsible for assembly of mechanical and electrical components to specification, to check products electrically using standard measuring tools, for laying harness in chassis, for the electro-mechanical assembly of chassis and boards, to terminate and test connections, etc
  • Able to follow visual and written instructions related to the testing and manufacturing of product, good soldering skills required. Should be able to follow directions from senior technicians in a professional manner.
  • Install and assemble electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, by correctly and safely using hand tools, power tools, soldering guns, screwdrivers, precision measuring instruments and templates.
  • Qualified candidate should be able to test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as, electronic voltmeters, power meters and process instrumentation.
  • This job will require performing a number of complex, but repetitive electro-mechanical assembly operations of electronic parts, components, subassemblies and units including printed circuit boards, panels, cable harnesses and other electronic assemblies.
  • Work within the team to ensure accurate and timely response to customer requirements. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions such as blueprints, assembly layouts, schematics (electrical diagrams ), wiring tables, drawings and sketches in completing a variety of assembly and subassembly tasks, modify, or reassemble electro-mechanical assemblies, should be able to work with high voltage.
  • Candidate will be responsible for in-process Inspection of own work and previous steps, maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Establishes new approaches and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in all work processes.
  • Candidate should be capable of completing process check sheets, daily production sheets and other daily reporting and paperwork according to company procedures.

Requirements: 

  • High school or vocational school graduate with courses in electronics and mechanical drawing and shop practices preferred. 
  • 3+ years related experience performing electro-mechanical part inspections and electronics within a well established quality system.
  • Able to discuss technical problems and inspection results/solutions with manager, engineering, manufacturing and purchasing department.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on regular bases.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
